Operations Technical Service Team (TST)

About Operations

The Operations Technical Service Team (TST) is one of the eleven technical teams in the FHWA Resource Center. The purpose of the Operations TST is to provide technical assistance with operations technologies and programs to FHWA field and program offices. The technical assistance role takes many forms. The team members serve as a pool of instructors for NHI courses or local workshops. They support field offices with reviews of state and local project documents, peer reviews of programs, promote market ready technologies, or simply act as trusted advisors or "sounding boards" for division specialists as they support their local customers. The team members also support headquarters program and research offices as virtual extensions of their technical staffs for developing and implementing operations programs as well as representing the agency on technical industry panels and committees.
