The Curbside Inventory Report conveys current practices and emerging specifications in the area of curbside management. The report is intended to provide practitioners of all levels of experience with information on how to assess, gather, and analyze information to understand available information on curbside management inventories.

 This is the first edition of this report and supplements the Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE) Curbside Management Practitioners Guide.

Promotion and outreach to encourage municipalities to adopt sound AM practices and strategies.

 By providing materials directly or participating in national committees that produce materials to educate and assist municipalities about using best practices.
To sponsor and periodically update a popular training course through the National Highway Institute https://highways.dot.gov/nhi/home that teaches Access Management principles and case study examples where changes in driveway access have improved safety and arterial traffic progression. Course # 133078 "Access Management, Location, and Design"
Setting policy pertaining to changes in access on the Interstate Highway System.
