USDOT Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) released two final rules outlining new performance measures to improve road and bridge conditions, and assess travel reliability, congestion and emissions. The goals with these rules are to reduce travel delays, air pollution, and improve infrastructure quality. State departments of transportation will have more information available to them to help better plan their overall programs. |
