The Federal-Aid Highway Program (FAHP), an umbrella term for the separate highway programs administered by the Federal Highway Administration, are funds apportioned to the states primarily for projects focused on highway construction. The majority of FAHP is distributed through five core formula programs. The remaining funds are distrusted through discretionary programs. Monies for FAHP come from the Highway Trust Fund. |
