Trucks attempting to cross the border between the United States and Mexico are seeing wait times upwards of five hours. The delays are being attributed to both longer load/unload times and slower inspections. The El Paso freight market has seen the greatest increase in wait times, 46% slower from June to July. A handful of border ports did see a decrease in wait times, including McAllen, Texas and Tucson, Arizona. |
