On October 31, 2019, the Senate voted to provide $74.3 billion in funding for transportation programs and housing assistance and community development through fiscal year 2020. The funding provides $1 billion for infrastructure grants as well as providing $679 million for the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration and $972 million for the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. |
