Daimler Trucks North America (DTNA) is deploying electric trucks in real world applications to engage customers in the commercial electric-vehicle development process. Fourteen customers, that are members of the Freightliner Electric Vehicle Council, will help test the new electric fleet over the next 22 months. DTNA is hoping to identify and address potential hurdles to large-scale deployment of the vehicles. |
