The final 2 of 34 megaloads has left the Port of Lewiston, Idaho. Although there was a number of protests during the 18 month duration of which megaloads were traveling through the area, Port Manager noted that this project has been good for the community by creating jobs and recognition for the area. The effort began in the autumn of 2010 and has included the movement of 82 half-sized megaloads, 102 semi-tractor trailer loads, and three railroad car loads. |
