The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) has released quarterly performance measures from their Gray Notebook. Among other findings, WSDOT has noted that the use of innovative technologies through their Commercial Vehicle Information Systems and Networks (CVISN) has allowed more than 1.1 million commercial vehicles to bypass weight stations in 2011, saving commercial truck drivers almost $12.1 million in time and fuel alone. |
