The California Green Port Gateway project to improve the connection between the Port of Long Beach and the Alameda Corridor rail line has recently broken ground. This $83.5 million project will assist in reducing congestion and improving emissions near the port by adding over 30,000 feet of new railroad track and rerouting 8,000 feet of roadway while adding 340 full-time construction jobs to the region. |
