A pilot program has begun for commercial vehicle pre-inspection pilot program at the Peace Bridge in Fort Erie Ontario. The purpose of this pilot is to pre-inspect commercial trucks in Canada, with a goal of minimizing delay at the border by minimizing the number of commercial trucks that require an inspection in the United States. This pilot program is scheduled for a minimum of six months, but could become permanent depending on the outcome of the pilot. |
