The National Freight Advisory Committee (NFAC) has published their report to the United States Department of Transportation that includes 81 recommendations to improve the country's freight transportation system. The NFAC has grouped the recommendations into the follow areas: safety and security; funding; streamlining; harmonization of policy, regulation, and programs; data, research, and education; and technology implementation. |
