What is a corridor?A corridor is an interconnected network of transportation facilities and related services. It may include multiple freeways, arterial roadways, transit services, bicycle and pedestrian facilities, park-and-ride lots, and rideshare services serving people traveling in similar directions. What is a subarea?A subarea is a portion of a region such as a local municipality (city or county), a downtown or central business district, activity center, or neighborhood. Why view this session? Our corridors and subareas face numerous transportation challenges. An outcomes-oriented approach to TSMO, shared in this session, ensures a holistic methodology that does not focus only on a single, limited solution to a problem, but rather comprehensive strategies that overcome challenges among all modes.
