Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration Acting Administrator T. Scott Darling sent an e-mail letter to his "FMCSA family" updating employees on the top five priority initiatives for 2015. As the as acting administrator for the FMCSA he has been privileged to represent this agency and its 1,100 employees nationwide. Through ongoing conversations with the FMCSA family, they have been committed to saving lives by working toward zero crash fatalities involving large trucks and buses. The five initiatives include: 1) safety fitness determination, 2) inspection modernization, 3) unified registration systems, 4) compliance, safety, and accountability, and 5) electronic logging devices. |
