Data from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) shows an increase in truck related crashes with fatalities in 2015 compared to 2014. According to the NHTSA 35,200 people died on U.S roadways in 2015 versus the 32,675 reported fatalities in 2014. The result of these fatalities have led to the factor that there has been a 3.5 percent increase in vehicle miles traveled over the course of one year. |
