USDOT is establishing an advisory committee of 15 individuals for 2-year terms to help determine how, when and where automated technology will transform the way transportation is used. Members will present their technical recommendations to USDOT Secretary Foxx on using automated vehicles connected roads, freight movement and more. Potential committee members should have in-depth knowledge of their respective industries or government sectors and are nominated through a transparent process published in the Federal Register. |
