According to a USDOT Bureau of Transportation Statistics report for September data, trucks carried 64.7% of NAFTA trade between the United States, Canada and Mexico. From a value perspective trucks carried over 61% of the imports and over 68% of the exports between the countries. Overall the value of the total freight movements on all modes fell 2.3% to $91.1 billion. |
