The Florida Department of Transportation is installing sensors in 1,859 parking spaces in 68 rest areas and truck stops. These sensors will provide truck drivers with real-time parking availability via mobile app and highway signage. This information will aid truck drivers in finding a safe place to park when they are tired or have reached the end of their regulated driving time. |
