The USDOT Office of the Assistant Secretary for Research and Technology (RITA) Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) published the October 2018 Freight Transportation Services Index (TSI) on December 12, 2018. The TSI rose 2.0 percent from September. With this rise, the TSI reached an all-time high of 138.8. The increase was the result of growth in trucking and water. Other modes saw a slight decrease. |
