The USDOT Office of the Assistant Secretary for Research and Technology (RITA) Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) published the February 2019 Freight Transportation Services Index (TSI) on April 10, 2019. The TSI fell 0.5 percent in February. The decline in Freight TSI was driven by decreases in rail carloads, rail intermodal, and water, while air freight, pipeline and trucking grew. |
