After falling in June, the American Trucking Associations advanced seasonally adjusted (AS) For-Hire Tonnage Index increased 6.6% in July 2019. Compared to July of 2018, the SA index was up 7.3%. Despite large monthly variations, overall truck tonnage is increasing for 2019.
