The USDOT Office of the Assistant Secretary for Research and Technology (RITA) Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) published the July 2019 Freight Transportation Services Index (TSI) on September 12, 2019. The TSI rose 0.9 percent from June to July 2019 setting an all-time high. The July rise appeared across multiple sectors including rail, trucking, pipeline and air freight. Water transportation saw the only decline. |
