Description |
Coronavirus is hitting China hard and because their economy is intertwined with the rest of the world, it could have an effect on the worldwide supply chain. Typically, this is a very slow time for exports from China. As a result, the US is not yet seeing an impact from Coronavirus. However, if the closures of factories and ports in China continue into March, there will be a significant decline in US port activity. This will eventually trickle down to domestic trucking. However, trucks should not be as affected at sea and air freight. |
