Going in to Memorial Day weekend, spot rates were up in the Nation's busiest lanes for truckload freight compared to the start of May. Load-to-truck ratio for van, flatbed and reefer were all up. Across the country rates are increasing out of Los Angeles and portions of the Southwest, but decreasing out of Florida and Georgia.
