A new Nikola plant in Arizona is expected to start producing battery-powered semi-trucks in late 2021 and hydrogen-fueled sem's in late 2023. Pre-production prototypes are already being built in Germany and Nikola expects to be able to produce 35,000 vehicles a year in the new Arizona plant.
