The California Air Resources Board adopted a rule called the Advanced Clean Trucks (ACT) regulation requiring the sale of zero-emission heavy-duty trucks. Starting with the 2024 model year, ACT will require the sale of zero or near zero emission heavy duty trucks to increase year over year. This regulation is expected to reduce greenhouse gasses and tailpipe emissions. |
