The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) closed three positive train control (PTC) safety recommendations, after all required railroads met the federally-mandated PTC installation deadline on December 31, 2020. The railroads that came into compliance included freight railroads Canadian National (CN) and CSX and commuter passenger railroad Metra. |
