The United States Department of Energy (DOE) released a report that shows that by 2030, 50 percent of zero-emission medium- and heavy-duty trucks will be less expensive to buy, operate, and maintain that conventional diesel trucks; these zero-emission trucks will reach cost parity with diesel trucks by 2035.
