The United State Maritime Administration has released 11 new designs for vessels intended to navigate America's costal Marine Highways. These new designs focus on the ability for wheeled cargo, such as trailers, to be driven on and off of the vessel. Moving cargo from the road to the Marine Highways not only relieves congestion, but is a more fuel-efficient method to transport cargo. |
