Description	The Maryland Department of Transportation in partnership with the Maryland Motor Truck Association and I-95 Corridor Coalition have announced a new pilot project for emergency truck parking in select park and ride lots across the state. This project designates six new parking lots that can be used as emergency truck parking during snow storms of six or more inches. Additionally a mobile 'app' has been developed to assist truck drivers in locating truck parking options. This application uses the phones internal GPS to provide a list of nearby parking options as well as their distance and directions.
