The Compliance, Safety, Accountability (CSA) Program has released factsheets highlighting the seven Behavior Analysis and Safety Improvement Categories (BASIC). These factsheets are targeted for motor carriers and commercial motor vehicle drivers who would like to learn more about the seven BASICs. The factsheets cover: Unsafe Driving, Fatigued Driving (Hours-of-Service), Driver Fitness, Controlled Substances/Alcohol, Vehicle Maintenance, Cargo-Related, and Crash Indicator. |
