Description	The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) has announced the No-Defect Driver-Inspection Report (DVIR) for Intermodal Equipment Final Rule eliminating $54 million in unnecessary costs to the commercial vehicle industry. This rule eliminates the requirement for drivers to file a report following an inspection of intermodal equipment when the driver has not found nor been made aware of any defects in the equipment.
