The Transportation Research Board's Strategic Highway Research Program (SHRP 2) has released a report entitled Freight Demand Modeling and Data Improvement Strategic Plan. The goal of this report is to identify and define strategies for both the near- and long-term development and implementation of freight travel demand forecasting and data. Further, this project also developed and released a state of the practice for freight demand modeling and data collection. |
