The Transportation Research Board's (TRB) National Cooperative Freight Research Program has published findings from a recent study in a report entitled Synthesis of Freight Research in Urban Transportation Planning. This report provides a look at practices and policies that assist in managing freight activity in metropolitan areas. In addition, researchers included a review of freight transportation related practices in Europe to determine the benefits and applicability of conducting them in the United States. |
