Georgia Governor Nathan Deal recently attended the ground breaking ceremony for the project to complete a final stretch of the Jimmy Deloach Parkway. This project will extend the parkway by roughly three miles near the entrance to the Port of Savannah. When completed in 2016, these infrastructure improvements will increase efficiencies moving goods in and out of the port for the nearly 8,000 trucks visiting the Port of Savannah each day. |
