The Florida Department of Transportation completed a study to better understand the effect of heavy vehicles on Florida's freeways and multilane highways. Specifically, the objective of this project was to review truck fleet characteristics specific to Florida and use modeling and simulation to refine and update passenger car equivalency values. |
