The Transportation Research Board has released their annual update highlighting critical issues in transportation. Of the issues discussed, several are relevant to freight transportation. These issues include that the transportation system performance is neither reliable nor resilient, freight repercussions due to the changing energy supply, and inadequate funding sources for freight rail and waterway transportation. |
