The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the Georgia Department of Transportation, and the Georgia Ports Authority have signed a project partnership agreement to begin the Savannah Harbor Expansion Project. This project will deepen the harbor to allow larger ships to be more fully loaded when they enter the port.
