Research | Other International |
This project explores actual truck Global Positioning System traces from different shippers and carriers, as well as from an Internet traffic service provider, to better understand truck logistics behavior and traffic around the city. Data collection started during the São Paulo Off-Hour Deliveries pilot in October 2014. Some results were presented at the 2016 World Conference on Transport Research. This research is partially funded by the World Bank and the Brazilian Ministry of Science and Technology.
